Remembering When Lunch with Firefighters

The Monroe Fire Dept. will be hosting the Remembering

When program, a FREE fire and fall prevention program.

This will be on February 17th at 11am at the Monroe Fire

Station #4 located at 3907 Old Charlotte Highway (across

from Union Academy Lower Campus). In addition to the

program there will be a tour of the new fire station & fire

trucks along with a lunch. Space is limited & reservations are

required. Call Council on Aging 704-292-1797 to register.

  • Plug in only 1 heat producing appliance at a time

  • Do not use extension cords and power strips

    for major appliances like air conditioners & refrigerators

  • Extension cords are not to be used as permanent wiring

  • Check all electric cords to make sure they are not damaged.
